Hello everyone and Thank you so very much for your interest in my website. My name is Deanna Marie Julbe, I was born on September 20, 1984. I have 3 sisters (Jessica, Christine and Missy) and 4 brothers (Steven, Daniel, Carlos and RIP Big Steven). Jessica, Steven and Daniel are my mothers children and my other siblings are by Marriage. My father passed away when I was 6weeks old. My mother remarried and had my younger brother Daniel. My Mother worked very hard to provide for us the best she could and never let our disouragements hold us back. I began writing poetry when I was about 13years old. My sister Jessica was the writer in the family and I was so inspired by her beautiful poetry so I picked up the pen and have not put it down ever since. I was Raised in Middle Village(Queens) New York and in 1998 my mother Re-married. My parents, my younger brother Daniel and I moved to Florida. It was a very hard time in my life I did not do well with the move. I was in a new school with no friends or family I felt so alone. I turned to my poetry as my escape. I have used my poems to escape my sadness, find love, to vent my frustrations and to overcome hurdles. Poetry for me has been a crucial part of my life and I hope to use it to bring love, empathy and inspiration to all of you. <3 As always stay blessed and Inspired!!!<3
